Snow Scraped by A Saint

How beautiful is our clean, snow scraped street.

Thanks to neighbor, Dave, he served us this treat.

More city shovels our road would like to meet.

With open arms the workers, we surely shall greet.  

 

 

 It seems that the neighboring streets get attention, but ours never does.   Yes, it is a cul-de-sac, but so are many others that are cleared.   Week in and week out, storm in and storm out, we are neglected.   At least looking on the other side of the road we feel that way.  

But, Dave noticed.  He drove over with his tractor and cleared every snowy drop, piling it high, away from mail boxes, approaches and such.   We love you Dave. Oh, yes, we do.   You have made our lives less blue.  When we are stuck, we'll call you.  Yes, Dave, we love you!!!
